Hello there, why two BUV's? Don't you use just one for the whole home, right at the entry point from the street just inside the home? Would the 2nd one be used to allow weeping tile water to continue to the street and prevent sewer back up into the weeping system?

But doesn't this mean your dirty water will be held and backed up in your pipes now that that trap closes. Why hasn't anyone thought of this?

yes we can use plastic too, it just up to the our customers what kind the music they like,oslo here in Canada it is more cold then in UK thet is why the pipe should go deeper

I guess the pipe is about 5ft down for the frost? here in the uk it only needs to be 3ft. How come you replace them with copper can't you use plastic for mains supplys
